Public Radio. Students in Theology co-edit the Protestant weekly Program

Un momento della registrazione

Rome (NEV), May 29, 2018 – A group of students of the Waldensian Theology Faculty of Rome will be broadcasting the national radio program “Culto Evangelico”, edited for more than 60 years by the Federation of Protestant Churches in Italy (FCEI) in agreement with RAI Radio1.

Sunday mornings, on June 3rd and 10th, at 9.05AM, the “future pastors”, who attended the course of “Liturgy”, will animate the first part of the program, with prayers, readings and a selections of hymns chosen by themselves.

For the registrations in the RAI radio studios the students were accompanied by Pastor Luca Baratto, editor of the program, so as by Pastor Enrico Benedetto, professor of practical theology at the Waldensian Faculty, who held the course of “Liturgy”. Benedetto will be preaching for the radio worship on 3rd and 10th June. “All the proposed texts have been discussed together and revolve around two passages of the book of the Apocalypse: the opening of the book in chapter 1, which is a blessing to those who read the Word of God and listen to it, a sort of a ‘good Sunday wish’ – Benedetto explained – that comes from God himself. The second text is a verse from the Letter to the Church of Philadelphia in chapter 3: ‘I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut’”.
