Bouchard. The condolence of the Pentecostal churches

Rome (NEV), July 30, 2020 – The president of the Federation of Pentecostal churches, pastor Carmine Napolitano, sent to pastor Luca Maria Negro, as representative of the Federation of Protestant Churches in Italy (FCEI), a message of “fraternal and friendly closeness” after learning about the death of Pastor Giorgio Bouchard.

In the text of the letter Napolitano recalls the “multifaceted presence in the evangelical world (of Giorgio Bouchard) and the various roles held at the highest level, (which) often put him in contact with the Pentecostal world towards which, over time, he had attitudes of significant openness,  encouraging concrete collaborations with the reformed world”.
“With him, one of the most committed protagonists of the evangelical life of our Country on the front of social and political dialogue disappears – wrote Napolitano – surely leaving a void, but also an example that deliver him to history with emotion and affection”.
